#My mum
Jeong heard from the doctor that my mum has a 30-50% probability of dying from surgery.
She will have a fat chance of restoring her right eye.
As for her left eye, I was told that even if she get it cured, she will only be able to detect the brightness around her.
Apparently, however, there is no any possiblity of being cured, actually.
Average people would be fine because they have a good immune system,
but my mum is more serious due to decreased immunity caused by diabetes.
To top it off, on the point between the eyes above the nose is filled with inflammation and needs to be scraped off by surgery.
Since there are major organs including the brain, leaving the inflammation unattended is more likely to be dangerous.
And the surgery above is the only treatment to fix the issue.
I rang her and listened to her.
"I've got a headache and eyes hurt, too."
We were having an everyday conversation.
"What did you eat last night?"
"Porridge. Hey, Yujin. Study hard and eat well."
She sounded like she was dying.
It felt like her voice was saying that this might be our last time.
The surgery is starting tomorrow afternoon.
Wish her luck, please.
#What is life
Someday we will all die.
Then, is there a point in becoming well-known or attending a prestigious university?
Or even trying to earn plenty of money?
